Undertakes field and office duties within but not limited to High Bar First Nation traditional territory monitoring and reporting on natural resources, environmental conditions and spills, archaeological findings, fishing and hunting, misuse of lands, title, fish or wildlife and anything affecting High Bar First Nations' traditional way of life and or food sustainability.

Stewardship Forester
Coordinates with various forest stewardship and tenure opportunities in High Bar First Nations territorial lands in the effective development, provision, and evaluation of forest timber and non-timber resource programs, carries out the mandate to protect and implement Aboriginal Title and Rights, manages the forestry program and develops plans for forest and land use. Focus on sustainability and protection of wildlife, trees, plants, soil and water within the traditional territories.
