George Jennings has led the High Bar First Nation (HBFN) Stewardship and Lands Department (SLD) since 2021. George Jennings has a BA (Hons) and an Advanced Degree in Geographic Information Systems, as well as being an internationally accredited Geographic Information Systems Professional. George has more than 24 years’ experience in fields of natural resource and information management, and more than 20 years’ senior level management experience. George has been tasked by HBFN leadership with the stewardship of HBFN territory in the fields of Forestry, Fisheries, Culture and Heritage, Referrals, Sustainable Habitat Management, the Guardian and Field Programs and Geographic/Data/Information Management Systems for the SLD. George enjoys exploring the territory and discovering the cultural heritage values throughout the territory.
