Troy grew up in Calgary, Alberta. After his undergrad he continued his studies in Europe for several years before moving to the Secwepemcúl’ecw in 2019. He feels very welcomed and at home in the Secwepemcul’ecw as well as at HNFN. He has his Master of Science in Sustainable Forest Management from the Technical University of Munich. He is working towards his Registered Professional Forester in the next two years. Troy is facilitating and designing the Forest Management Plan for the First Nation Woodland License. A plan that incorporates both Indigenous Land and Stewardship and the most advanced scientific analyses. Troy loves Nature and wants to do everything he can to help to preserve it. He also really loves lunchtime Bannock.
